About the museum
Dear friends, we are happy to welcome you to the Cossack Yard museum complex, one of the most colorful objects of the National Preserve "Hetman's Capital". The complex reveals the exceptional and traditional features of the development of Baturyn in the second half of the nineteenth century. It shows the social conditions of the clan Cossacks in the period of statelessness, cultural and historical heritage through the life of Cossack families.
The museum complex was created during 2015-2021 based on historical, ethnographic, and architectural research. It consists of a hut with a mud room (seni), a parlor and storeroom, and a courtyard with household facilities. The yard is surrounded by a traditional fence.
The Cossack Yard museum complex is the first interactive museum in the Chernihiv region. After crossing its threshold, the visitor finds himself in 1864 in a Baturyn family of Cossack caste, which remembers the victories of their ancestors and acquired good fortune through conscientious work. Even in the period of statelessness, this family is active in social activities, defending the right of us Ukrainians to the language and our state.
In the Cossack Yard, each visitor becomes a participant in the life of this family: grinding flour together with the mistress, carrying water with a shoulder pole, ironing with an ancient iron – smoother, teaching Kulish grammar...

Аудиогид лучше было создать не через "Коллекции", а через "Экспонаты". Не удобно "прыгать" с коллекции на коллекцию.
