Metropolitan Garden - an important part of the "Rostov Kremlin" Museum-Reserve. Being reconstructing since 1997 the garden has grown up and now seems to remind the 17th century's archetype.
"Rostov Kremlin" was built in the 17th century as the residence of the Rostov church hierarchs. It was intended to embody the image of the heavenly city of Jerusalem. As the part of it Metropolitan Garden was meant to embody Eden garden, place of beauty and meditation.
