About the museum

Welcome to St Michael’s Cave, the biggest and the most fascinating and beautiful natural cave in Gibraltar. St. Michael's Cave is the name given to a network of limestone caves located within the Upper Rock Nature Reserve. "The Awakening" is an immersive light and sound installation expressing layers upon which history is fused with the rock.It illuminates these sculptures of time and reawakens their hidden story.

    The cave has no audio! Thank God I downloaded the St Michael's Cave audio. Cheap and worth it - trust me.
