This audio guide, which will accompany you to discover one of the most significant monuments of Pozzuoli and the Phlegraean Fields, the Macellum or Temple of Serapis, was created by the students of class 4B of the Jacopo Sannazaro Classical High School of Naples as part of the Path for the Transversal Skills and Orientation in the 2021-2022 school year.

In this project the students were supported by La Terra dei Miti, a cultural enterprise that promotes knowledge of the Phlegraean territory through multiple educational projects aimed at school students of all levels.

As leader of the Macellum ATI, La Terra dei Miti, thanks to the Phlegraean Fields Archaeological Park, the Institute that oversees the protection of the monument, has recently opened it to the public according to an innovative management model that provides for the launch of activities aimed at its enhancement. One of these is the collaboration with schools and this audio guide represents a first concrete example.
