You can complete this tour in half a day if you want to, depending on how long you choose to spend at each attraction – the Oceanographic Museum, for example, could occupy you for a whole afternoon! Historic sites like Fort Antoine are the perfect place to learn about this City State over the years, how it defended itself against invaders and what happened when the fortunes of the ruling Grimaldi family waxed and waned. During the summer months you can see where the current royals live by visiting the staterooms of the Prince’s Palace and if you want to visit the tomb of the famous Princess Grace of Monaco (also known as the Hollywood actress Grace Kelly) then it’s easy to do so at Monaco Cathedral.
