About the museum
The State Central Film Museum at the Exhibition of Economic Achievements (VDNKh) was opened on October 20, 2017 in Pavilion No. 36. The building includes a storage facility, six exhibition zones, a science and education center and three cinemas, where the films from the museum's collection are shown weekly. The museum's funds contain costumes, photographs, posters and posters, filmstrips, rare books, film and photographic equipment and personal belongings of national filmmakers - from the end of the 19th century to the present day. A total of 169,000 items of storage. The most important part of the collection is represented by the cinematheque: The Cinema Museum is the owner of unique films.
