About the museum
阿尔伯特．爱因斯坦 (1879-1955) 在1895年来到瑞士，在这里生活了十八年，当中有七年住在伯尔尼。正是在这儿，他革新了物理学，也重塑人们对世界的认识。
1905年是爱因斯坦的「奇迹之年」，他在「物理学纪事」发表的四篇期刊论文，标志了世人对时间与空间之理解的转折点，这些全是在伯尔尼完成的。这年也是他卓越事业的起点。爱因斯坦在1921年，获得诺贝尔物理学奖。1999年，时代杂志推举爱因斯坦为「二十世纪的伟人」。
这一切都从伯尔尼开始。2005年举办了关于爱因斯坦生活的全面性特展，促成爱因斯坦博物馆成立，纳入伯尔尼历史博物馆的一部分，馆内展示了丰富的第一手文物、影片、书写文件等，勾画出这位天才的生平事迹，也同时呈现他所处时代的重要事件。
